Join the members and guests of the SPARCS flying club as they host the 2008 SPARCS Silent Fun Fly

This is a non-competition flying event

NEW LOCATION FOR 2007:

The Flying Site for this 2008 event is just on the north outskirts of Fairplay, CO, on the west side of U.S. Hwy. 285; The RC airfield is located just to the west of the "Two Mile High Baseball Stadium", accessed by the same road which connects off the Silverheels Road.

$15 Pilot Registration

Current AMA Membership Card must be displayed to fly at SPARCS RC Airfield

Lunch & beverages will be available during this event

HIGHLIGHTS

Flying at just under 10,000 feet A.S.L.

Two crossing 500+ foot long runways, plus a separate 3D / Slowflyer flying area

RV Parking and dry camping allowed on-site - no hookups. Our club's Porta-Potty is on site.(Call for further information)

2 Motels, 1 Historic Hotel, and 3 RV campgrounds in the immediate area, as well as camping areas in the surrounding Pike National Forest

Over the last seven years, this event (while held at another location) has gained the reputation of Colorado's premier RC silent flying event. We look forward to having you join us at the club's Airfield near Fairplay for this year's event.
